A RECORD-BREAKING PPV LIVESTREAM AUDIENCE: The Unofficial Word: MADDCity.Live and Danileigh Score More Than 800K Requests For The Live Online Concert

The numbers are still being tallied but the unofficial word is the Dominican Mami, Danileigh, scored major points on Monday, September 21, 2020 during her livestream concert event held on the MADDCity.Live virtual stage. Early Amazon Web Service reports reveal the double-platinum artist achieved more than 800,000 requests for her livestream performance at the peak of the virtual concert. This result hints at what may be interpreted as record-breaking, online, pay-per-view livestream attendance.

Early in the show, MADDCity.Live began to witness an unexpectedly high volume of Internet traffic to the game-changing live concert streaming platform. The result was a barrage of technical challenges. But as time neared the performance, the tone changed. In the end, fans spoke highly of the new livestreaming experience and Danileigh’s performance.

“This show was our inaugural event, modestly projected to draw between 30k to 50k viewers,” explained a MADDCity.Live representative. “At one point during the livestream, my phone was ringing as if I was answering calls to a telethon. I found myself suddenly fielding hundreds to thousands of calls at one time. It was insane but ultimately amazing.”

To date, the Danileigh virtual concert may be the most requested pay-to-view online event in the history of the Internet.

While building their own independent businesses, two young African American women in Atlanta initiate a movement celebrating the power of the professional single mother.

ATLANTA, GA — Two young, Atlanta-based, African American single moms have launched a new YouTube channel designed to celebrate and support single mothers who are or who aspire to be successful entrepreneurs. Clark-Atlanta University Alumnae Amber Davis, B.A. and Chasyte Brennan, M.B.A. are changing the trajectory of successful businesses owned by single mothers by showcasing how professional “mommies” do it best.

In the United States, a recent report shows 83% of single parents are mothers, and millennials have passed all other generations in the number of single-mother households. (Pew Research Center). But as this number has risen, so has this group’s curiosity regarding entrepreneurship. More and more single mothers are taking control of their financial futures by forming their own companies. Resources such as the Mompreneur Series assist in smoothing this transition.

During a recent conversation with these 2020 “wonder twins”, the two explained the purpose for this initiative:

“We launched our Mompreneur Series on YouTube because, just in speaking with each other, we discovered that many of us feel especially alone as a black or brown single moms on the path of entrepreneurship. There did not appear to be a resource or support group for single moms particularly of color. The Mompreneur Series is intended to be that place online where we join forces by networking, exchanging ideas, and hearing from other powerful professional mom entrepreneurs on how to effectively and successfully build your business and your brand.”

The Conference Board Leading Economic Index® (LEI) for the U.S. Increased in August

Slowing pace of improvement points to weakening growth in final months of 2020

NEW YORK, Sept. 18, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — The Conference Board Leading Economic Index® (LEI) for the U.S. increased 1.2 percent in August to 106.5 (2016 = 100), following a 2.0 percent increase in July and a 3.1 percent increase in June.

“While the US LEI increased again in August, the slowing pace of improvement suggests that this summer’s economic rebound may be losing steam heading into the final stretch of 2020,” said Ataman Ozyildirim, Senior Director of Economic Research at The Conference Board. “Despite the improvement, the LEI remains in recession territory, still 4.7 percent below its February level. Weakening in new orders for capital goods, residential construction, consumers’ outlook, and financial conditions point to increasing downside risks to the economic recovery. Looking ahead to 2021, the LEI suggests that the US economy will start the new year under substantially weakened economic conditions.”

The Conference Board Coincident Economic Index® (CEI) for the U.S. increased 0.6 percent in August to 100.8 (2016 = 100), following a 1.2 percent increase in July and a 3.9 percent increase in June.

The Conference Board Lagging Economic Index® (LAG) for the U.S. decreased 0.6 percent in August to 107.6 (2016 = 100), following a 0.6 percent decrease in July and a 3.5 percent decrease in June.

When the Kings Arms, Tooley Street SE1 shut its doors back in March its fate was unknown.

Over the course of the lockdown period of now nearing 16 weeks, The Kings Arms missed out on four of its biggest trading days: Mother’s Day in March, Easter Weekend and Marathon Day in April, and Father’s Day in June.

Throughout the course of the lockdown locals and regulars for over 17 years got together to support their local hub. From congregating at a social distance for the NHS clap each Thursday to buying vouchers and tee-shirts to literally save their pub.

On Saturday 04th July at 7pm the community and locals will gather at the opening for a socially distanced sing-a-along ‘Give A Little Love’.

State Senator Michael Rodrigues Endorses Becky Grossman for Congress
